Progressive Over Reach Won't Ever Stop. States Must Leave Now, Before it's too Late.

In my previous article, I wrote about the New York State government's shameless attack on freedom by outlawing the sale of the Confederate flag by fair vendors within New York.  Incredibly, Governor Cuomo signed the bill into law knowing full well the measure was a violation of the First Amendment.  The New York legislature is already working to amend the law with a so-called technical fix to help this atrocious law survive judicial review.

Reintroducing unconstitutional laws and regulations seems to be a trick increasingly used by the progressive left to keep "we the people" from practicing our constitutionally guaranteed rights.  When the Supreme Court of the United States struck down Cuomo's unconstitutional prohibitions on the practice of religion, Cuomo simply called the ruling irrelevant and pledged to reintroduce the restrictions at his leisure.  Faced with a similar problem in Michigan, democrat Governor Whitmer went further and ignored the ruling which struck down her dictatorial lock downs.  When pressed, Whitmer insisted she could impose a similar but not exactly the same lock down to keep her residents imprisoned in their own homes.

While democrat governors, seemingly, celebrate keeping their residents in captivity, other members of the party and the check marks on Twitter are increasingly arguing the Supreme Court - the highest court in the land - is illegitimate.  This dangerous mix of arrogance, megalomania, and rejection of the rule of law is far more authoritarian than anything Donald Trump has ever tweeted about.

Consider once again NYS Senate Bill S8298B which placed limits on the sale of the Confederate flag in certain fairs.  Much has been said about the constitutionality of the law, but no one in the mainstream press (or even Tim Pool) has mentioned the overt and incredible lie we the people were told by Governor Cuomo and the bill's democrat author.  Regardless of constitutionality, we the people were told the bill only targeted the sale of the Confederate flag and symbols of Neo-nazi and white supremacist ideology.

This is not the case.  Indeed, the vague definition of what a "symbol of hate" is would allow New York to prohibit any speech it finds distasteful on State property and on any property owned by in-state government institutions and authorities.

If being against abortion is loosely considered misogynistic, discussion of pro-life alternatives would be banned.  If believing there are only two genders and an individuals gender at birth can never be changed is considered transphobic, the public would be prohibited from using common sense.  If the man who led the Union to free the Southern slaves didn't do enough to help black Americans over a century after his death, remove his name and legacy from history.

Cuomo is a strong contender to be the next Attorney General of the United States. Even though Cuomo claims he is uninterested in the job there is no question the man has stronger ambitions and will likely seek the Presidency within the decade.  Any state and any citizen which values freedom and the constitution needs to strongly consider secession before Cuomo or anyone like him can take that office.  If his current behavior is any indication of future actions, his time spent at the White House will be entirely focused on shredding the Bill of Rights.

Blessed be the Peacemakers.
