America is going to collapse.

There should not be any doubt about whether the American Empire will end.  The only questions are when the collapse will finally happen and whether we'll recognize the Empire's agonal breathing.

I've maintained the best solution is for states to secede.  Secession, done properly, will reduce chaos by keeping the various state governments intact.  By preserving the state governments, state government services such as police and fire protection will continue to operate.  Free states may be able to alleviate the inevitable economic crisis by issuing a commodity backed currency.  Popular choices are gold and silver, but in a pinch many other commodities will work for this purpose.

But what happens to the millions of illegal aliens currently within the borders of the United States?

Certainly most illegal aliens are individuals who overstayed their visas.  These are individuals who were allowed into the country because they have the ability to return home, but they just chose to stay in violation of American law.  We can reasonably believe these individuals be able to return to their home country after America's collapse.

But what about the millions of illegal aliens who came to the United States as economic migrants?

There isn't any way to get an accurate accounting of the number of illegal migrants, their country of origin, or their ability to finance a return home.  We do know there is someone, somewhere sponsoring the trip northward for untold thousands of migrants.  On their journey, migrants are given food, mobile phones, and vague promises of work or welfare.  These migrants do not bear the costs of their safety because they're not financially capable of bearing these costs.  By extension, they are not capable of supporting themselves without immediate employment or government assistance.

If migrants cannot afford their initial trip to the United States, can they really be expected to pay for the return trip to their home country?  If migrants subsist on American welfare, how will they survive without an American government?  If a lucky individual found employment, will that job exist after the economic collapse?

We are on the verge of an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.

Millions of people will soon find themselves destitute and without food thousands of miles from their home and any familial support.  How do we keep these millions of people from dying — or rioting due to hunger?

The obvious first step is to deport newly arriving illegal aliens to their home country as soon as possible and as fast as possible.  The US Government should increase ICE's and HSI's budget and consider using the national guard to enforce immigration laws.

The Biden administration is taking the opposite approach.  Biden is welcoming migrants — even those infected with COVID-19 — with open arms to appease the authoritarians wanting cheap labor.  When America collapses there won't be a need for any labor.  Instead, there will only be immense suffering.  Biden and his minions must be held accountable for their contributions to this inevitable tragedy.
