Irresponsible Media Reporting on the Officer Chauvin Trial

Anyone who has seen the evidence presented in Officer Chauvin’s trial would agree the events surrounding George Floyd’s tragic death were not as simple as the cell phone footage made them out to be.

In cross examinations the eyewitnesses have testified to a number of factors which should create a reasonable doubt of guilt. Genevieve Hansen, an off-duty Minneapolis firefighter who was at the scene, expressed extreme disbelief over the unusually long EMS response time. Members of the ambulance crew testified the scene looked “unwelcoming,” and they were forced to leave before proper medical care could be rendered.

These two testimonies do not boldly proclaim Officer Chauvin’s innocence, however, they cast light on the tragic situation and provide reasons to doubt that Officer Chauvin intentionally, or even negligently, killed George Floyd.

Mass media journalists and the blue checks on Twitter would disagree. They declared Officer Chauvin guilty before they knew who Officer Chauvin was. Ultimately, the jury will decide guilt or innocence based upon the available evidence. The more important issue at hand is the news media’s willingness to be a cheerleader in support of the state.

What Happens to the Millions of Migrants When America Collapses?

America is going to collapse.

There should not be any doubt about whether the American Empire will end.  The only questions are when the collapse will finally happen and whether we'll recognize the Empire's agonal breathing.

I've maintained the best solution is for states to secede.  Secession, done properly, will reduce chaos by keeping the various state governments intact.  By preserving the state governments, state government services such as police and fire protection will continue to operate.  Free states may be able to alleviate the inevitable economic crisis by issuing a commodity backed currency.  Popular choices are gold and silver, but in a pinch many other commodities will work for this purpose.

But what happens to the millions of illegal aliens currently within the borders of the United States?

Certainly most illegal aliens are individuals who overstayed their visas.  These are individuals who were allowed into the country because they have the ability to return home, but they just chose to stay in violation of American law.  We can reasonably believe these individuals be able to return to their home country after America's collapse.

Liberals Display Their Ignorance While Texas Displays its Sphere

Texas Governor Greg Abbot has finally rescinded his despotic executive orders which kept Texas's businesses either closed or at reduced capacity.  On March 10, Texan businesses will finally have the freedom to fully reopen.  While this action is better late than never, significant irreparable damage has already been done to the Texan populace.  Far too many small businesses have already been destroyed, taking with them the livelihoods and dreams of the business owners.  In the midst of the unquestionably authoritarian COVID-19 lockdowns, Texas also saw a pandemic of suicides.  It is still too early to understand the full human cost of Governor Abbot's lockdowns, but news reports from throughout 2020 paint a depressing picture.  Hundreds upon hundreds of Texans attempted to kill themselves as a direct consequence of Governor Abbot's orders - he must never be allowed to forget that.

The same executive order which allows businesses to reopen also eliminates the statewide mask mandate.  On March 10, Texans will no longer be required by the Governor to wear masks in public spaces or in businesses which do not have mask requirement policies.  Other state governors, blue checkmarks on Twitter, and mainstream media personalities are livid that the Texans people will be free to choose the best way to protect themselves.  In an all-to-common display of unity with the authoritarians, President Biden decried the decision to allow freedom as "neanderthal thinking."

A Theory on the Rise of Critical Race Theory During the Pandemic

Over the course of 2020, mobile analytics firm Mobilewalla collected racial demographic data from selected Black Lives Matter ("BLM") protests.  The four cities included in Mobilewalla's analysis were Atlanta, Los Angles, Minneapolis, and New York City.  In each city, the percentage of white protest participants easily surpassed the percentage of the respective city's white residents.  As an example, while only 30% of Los Angelenos are white, at least 68% of Los Angeles’s Black Lives Matter protesters were white LA residents.

BLM protesters are, of course, not a perfect analog to the group of vile twitterati and civil servants which support critical race theory - but I don’t believe perfection is necessary here.  Since the data shows that white Americans are more engaged with BLM than their minority peers, it is safe to assume this elevated level of white support extends into other racial justice movements such as critical race theory.

Despite the name, critical race theory is completely lacking of any critical thought and at best is a type of modern day phrenology.  Under the eyes of a critical race theorist, every aspect of life can be examined through a racial lens.  Since capitalism is seen as a white institution, capitalism is solely responsible for black poverty.  The American educational system is based upon the white approach to learning, the educational system is fundamentally white and is responsible for under-performing black schools.  Even the venerable Smithsonian Institute published materials claiming time is a white concept and black Americans have a natural predisposition against punctuality.  By extension, punishing or firing black employees for their uncontrollable tardiness is another aspect of white supremacy.

If Biden's Goal is Unity, Pardons, and not Punishment, Are Due

In my previous posts I've made it clear that I don't believe the storming of the Capital building was a horrifying act of domestic terrorism.  It wasn't an insurrection, it wasn't sedition, and it was far from the darkest day in American history.  The storming was a riot and that is all it can ever be.  The riot disturbed the reverence of the Capital, but that is no different from the lost sense of security anyone feels when they see rioters on their doorstep.

The only concern I have is the rioters - and the responding police - may have endangered the artifacts and antiquities on display in the Capital building.  Whether gifted, discovered, or pillaged these are irreplaceable treasures which belong to the American people.  These treasures are a link to our past, not just as a Country, but the human species as a whole.  Even the Capital building itself is a beautiful monument to the American empire and must should be protected from needless damage and destruction.
